Weekly Lesson Breakdown
Lesson 1
- Handling and centering 1 kg of clay
- Introduction to shaping and bellying techniques
- Throwing basic pots and vases

- Trimming of pots and vases

Introduction to the use of chucks for trimming taller or enclosed forms

- Throwing pourer-related forms such as jugs and sake bottles

Introduction to spout creation using the snip technique
